Playing in Walloon Lake winds down the summer with have fun on the playground at Melrose Park and Veterans Memorial Park and a couple other parks, connect with nature at North Central Nat Area and Hill Preserve, feed your brain at the Library, Petoskey, be creative at Crooked Tree Arts Center, find your favorite local foods at Coveyou Scenic Farm, be active at a local park, do some hiking, find a Petoskey stone along the shores of Bear River Valley Rec Area and Bayfront Park.
