Suttons Bay on the South side of town offers options without trecking a long distance from the comforts of the Village. A few parks, both on and off the water, with provisions available on your way out. Go far on the Leelanau Trail, or putter about the skirts of town.
The Leelanau Trail extends a short ways to the North of Suttons Bay, with a return trip along the same. The ride is easy, and there tends to be less people on this Northern section.
Enjoy the scenery and winery. The Leelanau Trail is relatively flat, but the roadways to the wineries are not. What goes down, must come up – when it comes to bicycling.
A beautiful ride through wine country and rolling landscape. Center Highway and Cherry Bend Road are good riding with descent shoulders for return options. Check out BATA for a ride between both cities, to embark on a one-way trip.
