Driving around Harbor Springs is a rich step back in time through beautiful historic cottages that were built to overlook the Little Traverse Bay. The upper North stretches of the community provide countryside landscape and the starting point for the tunnel of trees. Downtown offers a beautiful Northern Michigan setting with a multitude of shopping and dining options.
A drive through Bay Harbor is like an oasis off US-31, flanked by water, and populated with beautiful modern architecture. The streets are lined with beautiful new homes, architecturally intimate in nature. Most of the corridors offer simultaneous views of the homes, water, and colossal commercial areas. Near the East end, a large concrete pier remains from the days passed, offering a beautiful unobstructed view of Lake Michigan and Little Traverse Bay.

Driving around Mackinaw City is a nautical experience with significant views of Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, and the Mackinac Bridge. Many parks are situated along the lakeshore for park and view right from your car. Extend your trip to the West along the lakeshore for more views of the water and stone cottages nestled on the shoreline. Note that Lakeside Drive is 10-15 mph single lane roadway.
