Driving around Suttons Bay is the gateway to the Leelanau Peninsula. Traverse along the West Grand Traverse Bay shoreline, then circle back around through the beautiful neighborhoods homes. The downtown district offers many opportunities for shopping and dining.

Driving through Northport has a nice downtown area and lakefront park with views of Northport Bay and Grand Traverse Bays. Meander through the neighborhoods for an extended view of the community.
Driving around Leland is anchored at the famous Fishtown and marina on Lake Michigan. Meander through the neighborhoods, the home of beautiful architectural residences, and out to the East for a view of Lake Leelanau.
This trips takes you around the lake of Lake Leelanau, through the town of Lake Leelanau, on the road called Lake Leelanau, all in Leelanau County.
Start in Leland and head South for a fantastic lakeside section of road, open the Lake Leelanau. Continue South, taking a left turn on Duck Lake Road (M204). Modest views will take you into the quaint hamlet of Lake Leelanau. A few miles East of Lake Leelanau, take a left on Lake Leelanau Road and travel along the East side of the lake. Close out the loop along M-22.
Dine with a view of the water at Cabbage Shed. Take in a view of the water from your car at Empire Beach, Elberta Bluffs & Frankfort Beach.
