The residential roads on the South side of town have beautiful homes flanking the roadway, with the North side an easy drive to Young State Park.

Bicycling in Boyne City is the gateway for long rides along the shores of Lake Charlevoix, on good roads with shoulders. The less energetic alternative is a jaunt around town through the lakeview neighborhoods and multi-use trail on the South side of town.

A great loop to experience the Little Traverse Wheelway and the North Western State Trail. The section of Conway Road has 1-2′ wide shoulders. Traveling clockwise is recommended, but either direction suits well.
