Alden Drive A
Driving around the Alden area starts in the downtown of Alden itself. Nestled on the shores of Torch Lake, this cute community is alive with flavor and interest. A short drive around the South side of downtown, exposes you to beautiful homes and forested hillsides. Heading North along Torch Lake, a mix of water views between the cottages and easy meandering roadway is a pleasant drive. Circling back around along Clam Lake offers more lake views and countryside scenery.

Alden Bicycle
Bicycling in Alden can expose you to many natural and cultural features in a very short distance. To the West is beautiful Torch Lake, to the North are cottages and the recreational park, to the South are beautiful architectural homes adjacent to wooded areas with virgin timber. The downtown section itself is easily traversed in no more than a stones throw.

Jordan Valley Backroads Drive
Drive within the Jordan Valley, and experience the natural beauty of the Jordan River scenery.
Pinney Bridge Road is a narrow gravel roadway, winding along the Jordan River, encased by hardwoods. The route travels at top speeds of 15 mph, with pull off and stopping required to let opposing traffic pass. The route provides frequent places to pull off and park, to take a hike, drop a line in the river, or stretch your legs.
